        OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT ANALYST

• Conduct analysis of operations data, and formulate and implement appropriate strategies in order to project import/export opportunities, market trends, and sales revenue.

• Prepare reports for senior management conceptualizing problems and recommending implementation of new systems, procedures, or operational changes to maximize business operations.

• Analyze information on company’s logistical processes, define marketing, sales, and import/export operational problems, and implement cost-saving and efficient procedures.

• Examine and analyze statistical data to forecast import/export, marketing, and sales trends.

• Break company’s import/export, marketing, and sales operations into component processes, and analyze relationships between them.

• Formulate operations strategies for optimizing product distribution, marketing, and revenue.

• Use software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  REQ: BA in Operations Management or Economics plus 5 years post baccalaureate progressive exp OR MA in Operations Management o! r Economics plus 2 years exp in the job offered

         Under close supervision of General Manager,

• Assist in formulating strategic marketing to maximize sales. 

• Research data on prices, market condition and future market trends. 

• Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. 

• Seek and provide information to help company determine their position in the marketplace. 

• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising and communications programs and strategies. 

• Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales and method of marketing and distribution. 

• Submit marketing directives and recommendations to manager for review. 

• Use software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
